Highway Adventures brings you the Welsh 3 Peaks challenge
This is a 24hr challenge in which you will climb Snowdon, Cadir Idris and Pen-y-fan. A total walking distance of around 17 miles and total climb of 2334m
Itinerary
We will leave Llandrindod Wells at 23.59 (midnight) and head to Snowdon which takes around 3 hours. We will be climbing Snowdon in the dark and will summit for sunrise (you will need a head torch) which will take around 5 hours to complete.
We will then drive to Cadir Idris which takes around 1.5 hours. We will climb Cadir Idris which should take around 6 hours to complete.
Then we will drive to Pen-y-fan which takes around 2.5 hours and takes around 3 hours to complete.
Then we will head back home, stopping in Brecon Weatherspoon’s on the way home for a pint
